County land audit
Where The Land Already Is
Kenya publishes no central register of county land available for sport. So this is built from what we can name and check — national and county stadia, municipal grounds — and it is open to correction by the people who can see the land.
Unverified / Reported A register of land, not of title. Nothing here confirms ownership, tenure or planning consent.

Method and limits
- Kenya publishes no central register of county land available for sport, so this register is built from what can be named and checked, and it is open to correction.
- Areas are the enclosed ground footprint. Where a venue is a known national or county stadium the figure is taken from its published pitch and stand footprint and labelled Official Statistic. Everywhere else it is our estimate from the ground's own dimensions and is labelled Unverified.
- 'What fits' assumes the whole enclosed area is usable, which it never quite is: stands, running tracks, slope, drainage and access all take space. Read it as the ceiling, not the plan.
- School playing fields are the biggest untapped land bank in the country and are almost entirely unrecorded. That is exactly what the submissions route is for.
- This is a register of land, not of title. Nothing here confirms ownership, tenure or consent.
